In the article "TRYING TIMES" talks about how hard it is to get a job without a collage degree and even if you even graduate collage its still hard to get hired. The article also stated that it maybe hard to get hire becuase of the United States is recoverying from the bad economy and it had stated its progress.
For example the article had stated,"The U.S. economy is slowly recovering from the Great Recession. In fact, the youth unemployment rate is far below its peak of 18 percent in 2009. But more than 12 million Americans are still unemployed." Another quote that was stated was, "The difficult job market is coming at a time when paying for a collage degree ." My last quote for the article that was stated, "For those without a collage degree, the situation is even tougher. The youth unemployment rate for high school graduates is almost 19 percent, compared to 8 percent for those with collage degrees.
I think that it is true that its hard trying to get a job in the economy because Im a teenage in the economy that is trying to get a summer job and its hard because business not hiring. Its also hard because Im still in high school and Im under the age 18. Most jobs that is hiring what people that is a high school graduates and people that is 18 and older and it makes me mad because I need a job for the summer so I can having my own money. But in this bad economy I dont think I would be able to find one.
This article reminds me of a times when my cousin was looking for a job and he was getting turned down because he didn't have a collage degree and also because he's not out his GED program yet. But its crazy because he's 19 and he have no crime recorder and also because he dosent do drugs. He kept looking and looking but still no one is trying to hire him. He apply to city jobs because they make a little more money then jobs micky d's and wendy's. But after two years of looking he still doesn't have a job. But he is finish his GED program and he is still job searching in this bad economy.
You're right. It's rough out there. 100
