"Civil War Raises Question About When To Intervene"

In the article "Civil War Raises Question About When To Intervene" by Ja'ani Delaney talks about how their is a huge civil war going on in Syria, and the article also talks about how Syria need help to fight this war . The article speak on who was involve with helping them fight. The article also talks about the will the U.S intervene with this war.

In the article it had stated, "
The intensity of the fighting that has accompanied the Syrian civil war is making it dangerous for many civilians to remain in their homes. The United Nations High Commissioner for Refugees (UNHCR) estimates that over 200,000 people have fled their homes for calmer parts of Syria or neighboring countries such as Turkey, Jordan and Lebanon."Another example from the text stated, "The fighting in Syria is primarily between the military loyal to Syrian President Bashar al-Assad and anti-regime protest fighters. However, in an attempt to justify his brutal crackdown, Assad has blamed foreign actors and terrorists for the initial uprising and continued violence."Another example from the article stated, "The opposition is a patchwork of groups fighting to overthrow Assad and establish a democracy in his place. The opposition includes the Free Syrian Army, the Syrian Liberation Army and fighters from across the region. Terrorist groups such as al-Qaeda have even joined the fight, worrying outside observers."Another example from the article is,"While the U.S. and its allies support the anti-regime groups, they have said they will not intervene militarily unless Assad uses chemical weapons." My last example from the article stated, "International military support of the rebels in Libya last year was credited with helping bring down dictator Moammar Gadhafi, but each conflict is different and there are worries that deep religious and ethnic divisions in Syria, as well as Assad’s close ties to Iran, could erupt into an even more dangerous situation."

I think the U.S shouldnt help because our soldiers had just gotten finish fighting a war, and also because if the U.S help Syria with their war, the other countries might depend on the U.S to help them fight their wars if one break out. I also think they shouldnt help because this war with Syria have nothing to do with the United States so i think they shold just leave it alone.

If they dont start using chemical weapons on their people and they just keep killing them, will the U.S get involve then? Will the U.S help the Syria people relocate over here in the U.S.?
